| Posted by lincrist Garmin 3590 LMT Speed Limits How can I save the speed limits I enter in the device so they don't disappear whenever there is a firmware or map upgrade. It is so frustrating. I had the same problem with my 3490 so it must be a common problem with Garmin devices. And why do so many roads (other than Motorways and Freeways) not have speed limits built in. I can't understand how the device gives an ETA when it doesn't know the speed limits! |

It depends as to whether the mapping supply company has then marked with speed limits. Garmin buy the maps from mapping company's. It is a little difficult to keep up to date with speed limits in minor roads as local councils change them whenever they feel like it. |
