| Posted by sebastian Why is my TomTom so slow to find a satellite? Sometimes, actually quite often, I have a problem with my Tom Tom to find a satellite and run the direction then. The waiting for connection is so long that sometimes I used a mobile app instead. I read that by downloading the quick-GPS this problem disappears but it did not work at all in my case. Does anyone know anything about? Any advice? Any solution? |

Is there any other solution? updating each week is fine for the first time but then it turns to be a bit time annoying... :) :) :) Anything else that, it is worth to give a try to solve my problem? Thanks for the help |

| Posted by peteaquae A confused Tomtom unable to find satellites I had this problem in France in September in the Dordogne. I first thought it was the terrain, but the problem got so bad I thought I'd have to bin my Tomtom One 3rd Edition. It ended up confused and unable to navigate. When I got home I ended up wiping it as much as I could and reloading the OS and the map. It is now back to normal and working OK again. |
