| Posted by andrew_1101 No GPS icons showing at all Hi, I downloaded the red light custom POI file and installed no problem...when I next updated I deleted custom POI and then installed the new custom POI file. However, I now have no custom POI icons on the map, none of the red light camera ones or any of the original preloaded ones (fuel,atm,food). I've tried downloading, reinstalling, resetting to no avail. The POI are in the GPS as can navigate to any of the fuel, ATM, food and custom POIs but they don't show on the GPS by default. I'm running a Garmine Nuvi 2497LMT...any ideas? Thanks Andrew_1101 |

| Posted by johmazz2006 poi Sounds like you only loaded the .gpx file and not the mp3 and .bmp files as well. I have a permanent directory on the computer for POI files, and each type in a sub- directory. When you update anything it will overwrite the old file with the new file. You only need to then get the .gpx file (data) and not the added required files each time you update anything. C:Garmin/POI C:Garmin/POI/speed cameras C:Garmin/POI/fuel C:Garmin/POI/food etc, etc, etc, Have the program SOX.exe in the same directory where you have POIloader.exe and POI loader then combines ALL the files in your POI directory into one file called poi.gpi which is then loaded to the GPS. |

| Posted by johmazz2006 gps icons Have gone through all settings and cant see anything to alter in the default details. Looks like you can only remove the bmp files in the downloaded date from here, then use POI loader unfortunately. :cry: |
