| Posted by eastwindse I am absolutely new to TomTom I have absolutely no idea what to do, I have a TT One XL and have been using TT Home until I found this forum. I only want to update the UK Speed camera on my TT. I know this TT uses ov2 files and I know where they are in the device. The question I have is as follows: 1. which is the best file to download to replace what I have been downloading from TT Home? 2. When I downloaded these files, do I have to rename them to saft them to the device? The name in the device is Safety_Cam_UK_TomTom.ov2 3. there are also other files of the same name but are .dct and .ver files, do I need to do anything with them? Thank you in advance for your help. |

| Posted by eastwindse Installation update Update: Field test was successful, the link given was a TT general installation instruction, so half the time, after the files got copied into my TT One XL, I was guessing what to do next and by trial and error, realised the ogg file was redundant and causing problem in my case. May be we should have a data base of installation instructions to cover all models and to caters for a complete novice like me. |
