| Posted by cezoot Just beginner with Garmin 2595 If I have all poi built in Garmin 2595 so plz I have many questions: 1- do i still need sox if i converted the mp3 alerts into wav sounds with another programme ? 2- How can i see the names of POI to match the sound alerts with it or is there anyway to see Garmin contents when i plug it to the PC ? 3-will I place the sound alerts together in one folder or separate matching with their suitable categories I mean put the sound alert for the restaurants in the same category of the restaurants in the garmin and do the same with each separate 4- how please can i do the setting for the speed limits , I think the experts of Garmin 2595 know that it has speed limits cover all the roads so all i need to know where i put the speed limit alert sound 5- are the files or the categories for the 2595 in csv or gps .. sorry im beginner and confused , any chance from any online please to teach me ..thanks for your patience . |
| Posted by sandruvlad info 1. no, mp3 will work just fine 2.they will work together, you don't need to match anything 3.I put them separately, but they will work if you put them together. 4.if you set you satnav to show all poi it will show you the right speed 5. yes |
