| Posted by iamunique406 TomTom - text to speech voices - a note about TT home Just a bit of help for anyone that has the same problem. If you use text-to-speech voices then you can't select them or use them when using your TomTom via TomTomHome. Its a licensing thing apparently. But from the TomTom itself you can use any TTS voice (if the device supports TTS) in any country. So using the UK female voice in the US etc works fine. I was using my tomtom via tomtom home and spent an hour trying to find a US tts voice as I apparently couldn't use the UK one. I thought they were only accent but tomtom home implied differently. |
