| Posted by puddy Garmin gpx files If I download gpx files and choose how many feet warning notice I require then upload them with poi loader can I choose express mode and keep the settings or do I need to choose manual and put the warning distance for each file again? puddy |
| Posted by sgordon999 good question I believe if you use express it defaults to whatever distance you picked when you downloaded the file. If you use manual you can put in a new distance and I believe that will override the one you chose earlier. |

| Posted by johmazz2006 warning distances Have read somewhere, that the distance settings used by POI loader are calculated with the speed of the zone you are in, and you are a warning with the distance relevant to that speed, to give you enough time to react to the warning. Used to set distances manually, but found it a waste of time as the defaults used by POI loader were good enough. |
