| Posted by johmazz2006 alerts Don't see why not. Just turn it on and view the map on screen when the unit locks onto satelites. Will check my 765 unit today in same mode. Never use it if I know where I am going as all the speed/traffic warnings are a pain when you already know them. |

I have tried what you suggested previously but didn't seem to get the voice alerts but do get them if I set a destination in first !! There are many times when I know how to get to somewhere but don't know the speed camera locations and it's a pain having to put turn by turn directions just to get speed warnings. Alex |

| Posted by johmazz2006 alerts Alex, don't get too bothered about it, as some models have different features that others do not utilize. Decided to keep my 765t after reading about some of it's features being deleted on later models. |
