| Posted by melitta.sterling Creating Custom Icons in Garmin Base Camp Hello friends. Can anybody please tell me how to link custom icons to POIs in my Garmin Base Camp? I was told that if you name the bmp file the same as the POI file, obviously with the different tail extension that would work. I have done this and tried repeatedly, with a nil result. I am trying to create custom icons for my Garmin Base Camp, it can be done somehow, as they give you about 6 custom icons, however they do not give any instructions and I have explored their help function, which is not overly helpful, with a nil result.
