NO, NO, NO....... You need to have the files you wish to upload to your GPS, in the same directory on the computer. i.e. IGA.gpx IGA.bmp Iga.mp3 or IGA.wav depending as to which sound file your GPS recognises The program POI Loader (available here as a free download) converts all 3 files into a file called POI.gpi which it then loads to the GPS. It is also handy to have another program called SOX.exe in the same directory as POI loader, which assists with loading sound files. The file called POI.gpi is the only file the GPS recognises.. |
