| Posted by something.else Loading Multiple *.GPI files to a Kenwood in-car unit Hi I Tried having diffent xx.GPI files and loading them into the unit, but it only took the data from the poi.gpi file ( I think). I have a kenwood in-car unit (rebadged Garmin). Can anyone confirm that this is correct or am I doing something wrong? Regds Alan E |
| Posted by something.else Using POILOADER to upload multiple *.GPI Files I have answered my own question. NO POILOADER will not compile and upload other xxx.GPI files. and storing them on the SD card doesnt help either. You will need to copy them up to the Garmin device as external mass storage to a folder (unknown to me at this time). The only file the unit will read from the SD card is POI.GPI Regds Alan |
