| Posted by orders4 Missing Map Symbols on Nuvi 1450LMT I tried to do a search on here to see if this problem has already been discussed, but didn't come up with anything. I just got a Nuvi 1450LMT yesterday. I transferred all my Favorites to it via Mapsource (saved from my 265). Everything looked fine. After doing a software upgrade I notice that all of the map symbols appear as small black dots instead of the chosen symbol. The proper symbol shows up when I choose to edit a Favorite however. I tried deleting all favorites and just creating one on the Nuvi and giving it a symbol - same problem: it only shows as a black square on the map. My 256T shows the correct symbol as well as text (like "Home") whereas the 1450LMT doesn't show the custom symbol or text. I have chosen to use maximum map detail but that doesn't help. My question is, did I screw something up or was it caused by the software update? Is there some setting I have overlooked? Thanks. |
