Best navigation route

Hi all,

I've got a Garmin Nuvi 1390 and I'm wondering if there is anyway to put in a set of addresses into the GPS and then tell it to plot the best fuel saving route based on your current position?

As an example, let say you want to do a garage sale frenzy and input in addresses which span across the town. Is there a way to get the GPS to navigate to all destinations without needing to backtrack?

Thanks!

Get the Mapsource program and you can do the route you wish to take and load it onto your GPS. Easy to do..

Ok, so you can't really do this on the fly? I mean basically without computer interface... So if you went out and bought the morning paper and started inputing the addresses into the GPS...

Hrmmmmm... What's strange is that my online manual for the 1300 says I've got the Route option but I don't see it on my Garmin... :(

Hi,

The Garmin nüvi® 1390T product specification does not have routes while as i.e. the nüvi® 3790T does allow the Route option.

Got the same problem on my older 660FM...

Route plotting

:D When I bought my 760 I didn't think I would be using the route plotting feature as I had just retired, wrong, it is a great feature that I use when travelling to the big smoke and want to go to various sites.
