| Posted by mjande Hot and cold Garmin screen cracks It is the same as heat a a glass up and poor cold water in it and it will crack. It's just the way glass reacts to hot and cold. |
| Posted by demogo thermal stress Yes, that's thermal stress -- it obviously couldn't take it. Glass can be very sensitive to thermal stress. If it's almost new and you purchased it with a cc, perhaps you have some coverage that way? |
