Missing Icons in POI files

G'day Folks,

I am using MobilePC on a netbook.
I can't seem to get the icons to show up in my new GPI files, all I get is black squares.
I've read through the other posts, tried all suggestions & nothing seems to work.
What I have found is if I put all the CSV and BMP files in one sub folder the GPI file generated by POILoader defaults to the sub folder name.
I have made sure CSV & BMP files have the same name (including capitalisation) & even tried renaming one of the BMP files to the name of the newly generated GPI file & making sure they are both in the POI folder.
All the 'black squares' are where they should be but sure looks crappy.

Any help would be appreciated.

When you download it, you need to download the BMP image file for it

Been there done that. If you look closely at my original post you will notice I reference "CSV and BMP files" in a couple of places. The end result is still black squares.

I've had the same problem when I use some POI Tools & finally noticed in the bottom lh corner that there is a setting for different icons, ie waypoints icon (icon = black square). This seems to supercede a .bmp file, so I changed it from waypoint to blank space & now my custom icon appears. Icons are easier to see in 2D at 100' to 200'. Too far out and it is not visible.

What POI tools are you using, the link in your message goes to something that doesn't seem to relate to your answer? All I am trying to to use the Garmin POILoader to load CSV & BMP files.
