| Posted by life.by Unable to convert speed_camera.wav to the proper format Just updating 3970T software and latest map last night. Try to updating the POI via POIuploader, but fail to transfer the .wav file. Do not know the reason? Does someone have the same experience? the Warning massage is : 'Unable to convert F:\speed_camera.wav to the proper format. Therefore this audio file was not transfered.' |
| Posted by bernienchris Sox download You need to have Sox. Sox.exe is available here: http://poidirectory.com/forum/topic/2500.html Download the SOX file, scan it and/or unzip it if needed. Once unzipped and saved to your PC (should just be one file and you will need sox.exe version 14.0.1), drag it or copy it to your \Garmin folder (that should be where the POI Loader is installed). Reload your POI's again and the sox.exe will convert the .wav file properly. You will get a prompt to run sox.exe, click run. :) |

| Posted by bernienchris Sox I have only seen that warning refer to SOX, so I would say either your Sox file is corrupted, or not in the right folder. My suggestion is to download Sox again, and make sure it's in the same folder that the POI Loader is installed. Cheers, :) |
