Garmin Nuvi 855 Doesn't Appear to Have Speed Sentry

I have just purchased my first "real" GPS, a Gamin Nuvi 855, having previously been using Tom Tom Navigator on my mobile phone via a bluetooth GPS receiver. The Tom Tom program had a feature whereby an alert sounded if the speed limit was exceeded by a selectable amount, which was a very handy feature. The Nuvi 855 doesn't appear to have this feature. Does anyone know if it just needs to be enabled somehow or if there is a program I can install to achieve the same feature?

Speed limit

Speed limit may not appear in all area. In Canada for instance, I believe there is no speed limit at all.

I am using the Nuvi 855 in Australia and the speed limit is always shown in the bottom LH corner of the Nuvi screen. All suburban streets in Australia have speed limits.

warnings

The Nuvi does not have that feature, it does however have the current speed limits shown, though it's not always accurate for recently changed speed limits or roadworks areas.
Many newer cars have an over speed setting you can use also.
