| Posted by pabncsn BMP icons bigger on a 3790t is there a way Has anyone figured out how to get Bigger poi (BMP) icons on a Garmin 3790t yet? I have noticed every now and then when i travel past a Chemist warehouse i see a BMP icon but.. its small you really have to look at gps to see what it is. Any sugestions on how to make bigger so you can see it on a 3790t thanks. :?: :?: :?: |

| Posted by pabncsn BMPs on my 3790t I have finally work out how to get the icons on the 3790t so I can see all my pois with icons and some have voice alerts. But the icons bmps are small on my 3790t Now the task is to make them bigger any sugestions :wink: |

3790T could not accept big size of icons, IMO，it caused by its display resolution 800x480-pixel screen, and only support 8 bit bmp. High pixel screen couldn't show big size icon on very small screen size such as 4.3 inch. The only way is that Garmin enlarges the unit's screen size |

| Posted by lyslee0 Larger Icons In POI Loader manual mode, you have to add a distance alert to the CSV file. The easiest way is to add "redlight" to the file name. Instructions for POI Loader says: If the file name contains "redlight", POI Loader assumes all records in the file have proximity alerts with a distance of 400m/0.25 miles. |
