| Posted by malcscer Tomtom Start speed cam Hi All, I am trying to install Maltese speed camera to my tomtom START GPS. I have downloaded all the 4 files, bmp, Ov2 etc. I also copied them in the tomtom Map folder and enabled the alert. I do get the image of the speed camera location if I go to browse map, but however I never get a warning beep while passing across a speed cam. Do i need to install something else? Thanks Malcolm |
| Posted by voemir check alert settings Not sure which particular Tom tom model you have but there should be an option to enable sound alerts. Look at your alerts settings. |
| Posted by stebbing3 Tomtom Start speed cameras Hi I have had Tomtom Start and mine did not show any pios whilst driving, nor give any warnings. I was very frustrated about this. Finally I found out through Tomtom that this is a very basic model and does not have this feature. |
