| Posted by greg4 Newbie wants help updating speed camera POI Hi all, I'm very new to iGO8 and I have a question regarding the updating of the speed camera database. I understand that you can download speedcam.txt and place it into igo8\content\speedcam and this will update the database. But do you delete everything in igo8\content\speedcam before adding the TXT file? I would have thought if the TXT file contained all the speed camera locations you would need to clear out the directory first otherwise old removed camera locations would still be in the database. Or, am I missing something. Can someone please confirm? TIA Greg |

Did what you suggested Keith and the spdb is now only 13K, was 180K. The new TXT file is 30K. Does that sound about right? Greg |
