| Posted by kurtzindustries mio gps in general I joined autovantage club to get a free gps offer they had, well i got it thinking cool but the mio m301 i got was garbage compared to my nuvi 750. I first found updating maps is a pain. and the nuvi offered several options compared to this. this one had something called lane assist didnt work, and aqusition time for gps signal compared to garmin was alot longer. is this normal? |
| Posted by rconnan Re: mio gps in general Simply - YES My recent GPS only was a MIO and the acquisition time and sensitivity was way poorer than my Garmin-Asus A50 nuviphone. Acquisition time is moments compared to more than a minute for the Mio. Rod |
