| Posted by shane3333 1490T PIO - WAV or MP3 I have searched around regarding the appropriate sound format for POIs for the 1490T and have found conflicting guidance. What should I be using, WAV or MP3? Thanks in advance, the forum and team are a great resource and am very glad that I found them. |
| Posted by johmazz2006 wave or mp3 Shane, Garmin seem to be heading towards the wav format, but I would try an MP3 first, and if it doesn't work then use the wav format. Strange to go that way but they may have found it to be less problematic for users.. |

| Posted by rctabanay nuvi 1490XXX i use .mp3 for my Garmin 1490T, no problem at all. .wav seems not working for me. Hope it helps. |
