| Posted by hms_lollipop Reset to factory settings? I am a garmin newbie. I tried to download redlight/speedlight software form this website but quickly became confused about which drive to download it to on pc. Is it C: drive or the drive assigned to unit when it is connected to computer. Anyway...I seem to have loaded it onto the drive that it assigned when connected to computer. I took it out foe a drive to grocery store to test and...no redlight alerts. I have 467mb of 1.8gb left on the Drive (holding the unit. I want to remove whatever is taking up the space and start all over but I don't know to remove and don't know if it is possible to remove. Can anyone help w/this? Also can anyone tell me what pc drives to use when using the otherwisw excellent download instructions? :? |

| Posted by life.by Re: Reset to factory settings? Answer for your title question. You need to turn off unit first, then press power button for long to turn on the unit. You can release finger until the manipulatory reset pic come out on your screen and follow the steps to reset your unit for factory setting. Don't forget to full charge your unit first. |
