| Posted by caesar On screen numbers 3790t I have searched the Garmin manual and cannot find the meaning of the small boxed numbers that are constantly on screen on my Garmin 3790t. Or what those numbers relate to. I imagine they relate to businesses that have purchased advertising. Can they be sourced...edited...removed...replaced to suit my needs? |

'small boxed numbers', if this is the info from POI, then you can press the pop-up info for while, then more info come up. You can choose to give favourite rate about the info. Also, you can report error or fixed the tele no. Anyway, have a try to press the box numbers for while, normally more info will come out. |

| Posted by caesar Boxed numbers Not quite that simple. e.g. boxed #33 Pressing twice on magnified scale returns several addresses in Moggill Road Brisbane. The full info reads: 497 Moggill Road Indooroopilly, Queensland Australia Mode:Car (icon) Distance: 7.3 km Time: 8 min Indexing the top of the screen gives SAVE or CANCEL or SET LOCATION as options....with GO button. NO mention of a business or telephone number or any other info. I have searched the menus looking for that address...nothing. I googled the address...it came up...as an address only, nothing further. ???? |

| Posted by life.by Re: Boxed numbers I see. the boxed no. 33 means the state route 33. It is road no.33 and you can try the google map, then you find whole moggill road tagged by No.33. More information: State Route 33 (Brisbane To Ipswich): Coronation Drive, Benson Street, High Street, Walker Steet, Morrow Street, Moggill Road, Moggill Ferry Road, Endeavour Road & McEwan Street. Its pic is white no. 33 with blue colour background. |
