| Posted by dickholliday Save a Search Is there any way to save a search that you do often? For instance if I search for starbucks , can I somehow save that search so I can do it again without having to enter the name again. I know my Magellan has a feature that allows you to save often used search's but I wonder if there is a way to do this on the Garmin via custom POI's. I had done a custom on a Lowrance GPS to make a custom search. Has anyone done this on a Garmin? |

You could probably save it without searching again. I use 3790 and think they work out as the same way. I search Starbucks, then choose to 'show on the map', and clike menu function button/key. You can see the new task info display, continue choosing 'save'. Now you have saved 'Starbucks' to your favourite. Therefore, you can directly choose Starbucks from your favourite without searching it again. |

| Posted by samintool Save a Search I use nuvi 310. And I can save the recent search or destination to my favourite. Saving instruction is same as provided by life.by. This can be done not only for recent search but also your recent destination. |
