The inbuilt camera function. Where are the photo files stored on the unit? Does not appear to be any after you take a photo? Is it only the software that makes a shutter sound, no photo?
Thanks

Hi

Hi,

I believe the camera function is only used to take a screen shot of the screen. As far as I know, the GPS does not have a camera.

Thanks for the reply, sounds like you are right, don't see any lens to on the unit.I don't think the 1390t has the capability for a screen shot either, as I cannot find an image after activating the shutter. Maybe the software is the same for a number of units.
Thanks.

Camera function

Hi,

The camera function is used to upload a photo of a location complete with geo data... so the GPS will find that exact location and show you the photo instead of the usual map location.

When you take a screen shot it creates a folder called screenshot on the internal memory and to get the photo you have to connect the unit and open up that folder and copy it to your pc and than open it
