| Posted by jeffreies iGO8 School Zones Hi All, Trying to add SCHOOL ZONES to poi folder iGO 8 txt format an also Google Earth KML with not much success, an while I'm on this I would also like to add RED LIGHT CAMERA'S also please. | Posted by Robzi Adding red light and school zones to igo 8 You need to enter the files both into your igo8/content/ Then into both speedcam and POI foulder. Make sure you download the correct extension file. But you can always place both in there as one just wont get read. Also with the school zones, IGO doesnt support this option as standard. It is a real pain. I would just stick to entering the red light camera details for now. |

It has the following header line: X,Y,TYPE,SPEED,DIRTYPE,DIRECTION Explanation: X = longitude Y = latitude TYPE = type of speed camera 1 - fixed speed camera locations; 2 - combined red light and speed cameras; 3 - fixed red light camera locations; 4 - section camera positions; 5 - lasers, hand-held radars and other mobile speed camera locations; 6 - railway crossing; 7 - not constant mobile locations) 8 - High Accident Zone 9 - School Zone 10 - Town Entry Point 11 - Red Light and Speed Camera 12 - Toll Booth 13 - Hospital, Ambulance 14 - Fire Station 15 - Congestion Charge Zone 16 - Give Way 17 - FixMobil 18 - Speed Breaker 19 - Children 20 - Dangerous turn 21 - Tunnel 22 - POI 23 - RPS Post 31 - Dangerous Area SPEED = speed limit in km/h DIRTYPE = type of direction of the speedcam (0-all directions; 1-one direction; 2-both directions) DIRECTION = direction in degrees (0-North; 90-East) DIRTYPE and DIRECTION are optional fields |
