| Posted by alanwilkinson Traffic receiver for TomTom 950 does not work Have updated from a tom tom 720 to a 950 and now find my traffic receiver does not connect. TomTom 950 does not recognise that it is even connected. Have tried Tom Tom support with no success. Device has an icon for traffic in the menu, but when I click on it , it pops up with traffic is not available at this time try later. I then try it with my 720 and it works fine. Any clues would be appreciated Alan |

| Posted by cbl39530 950/750 Traffic I contacted Tom Tom re availability of of TMC reciever for my Go 750, after all the intstructions and the software show that it should be available to work with connection of the reciever. After contacting Tom Tom to find out if and when the reciever would be available to get a one sentance short reply stating that Traffic is not available on the 750 Australia. If its not available then how about cleaning up all the literature and software! I wan nearly going to order a reciever from the english web site, but after reading that it is not working on the 950, I dont think I will :!: |
| Posted by nicholasdavidroberts 950/750 Traffic Since you have the traffic icon (and it at least has the functionality to say that there is no information and to try later) it seems logical to assume that it is capable of handling traffic functionality. Does that device have the ability to connect to a mobile phone via bluetooth? If so, it would be interesting to see if it can source the traffic data online. |
