| Posted by sanbap ICN 530 - Speed Camera POI file Hi, Can anyone provide me with the steps I would need to get the latest POI files on speed cameras on my ICN 530? I need it for Maryland, DC, Virgina, and PA. I use SmartST version 3.9. I can browse the folder POI. \My Flash Disk\Navman\Lightning\Navman\POIs This folder has a bunch of .bm and .map files. The Speed camera files in this site appear to be .CSV or .bmp. I would assume that these files would need to be converted into the .bm and .map files. Then, they would have to be copied to that folder (I assume that folder is read only)? Appreciate any help. |
| Posted by Guest Re: ICN 530 - Speed Camera POI file Sanbap, you can use Navman's SmartDesk software to load custom Navman POI updates and Speed cameras for Navman. It's included on a CD with maps (usually included in the box). You have to install it first. It's explained somewhere in this forum. Cheers |
| Posted by sanbap ICN 530 - Speed Camera POI file I installed the software about 3 yrs ago and no new version is available. That time, it did not have any of the speed cameras that we have in our adjoining states. Got to keep up with the updates. |
