Posted by Martyn Hinde Medion GoPal GPS Hi Guys I have just purchased a Medion GoPal GPS model PNA500T which uses Navteq mapping. I am in Australia. I would like to know a couple of things. 1) Can this software be used to include speed cameras and red light cameras as well as speed zones in Australia and on this GPS? 2) How much is it? 3) How much are the updates? Posted by Mark Re: Medion GoPal GPS Hi many people avoid buying Medion, mostly because that Medion is sold by Aldi, discount supermarket store chain. There is no doubt that both Medion and TomTom use the same technology with remarkable different price tag (guess which one is cheaper). We did not have chance to test any Medion device yet. We will release POI data for Medion after we test it. Regards |
Posted by Martyn Hinde Medion GPS Hi Medion does not seem to be a bad brand as is most of the Aldi's products. If you have to buy one to test it there probably won't be any left as this sort of item sells out on the day they hit the stores. So how can we try out your software to see if it will work? If you do get one how long before you release the POI Data. Martyn |

Posted by bwellfitness Re: Medion GPS Hi Mark I have purchased the Speed Limit sofware and installed it on the GPS. I have also registered with GPS Data Team. How do I now get the software to use your POI's? Martyn |
Posted by Mark Re: Medion GPS Hi Goto http://poi.gps-data-team.com/_safety/ , download CSV file ( Garmin or Navman CSV file format) and load downloaded CSV file according to instructions provided with the software. Regards |
