| Posted by kw67 Garmin 1490 Problems Mine shut down once when I was deleting entries in Favorite. It also happened after I used SW 4.7 to download the new map. Apparently 4.7 has issue downloading maps and corrupting JVC file. It sometimes shut down my GPS when navigate to the JVC points. |

Depends where and when., EG. mine once did it in the car whilst navigating the next time it did it I noticed that the power plug light had gone out and it was about to auto shut off thinking it had been disconnected for 30 seconds. I touched the powew plug in socket and it stayed on. (I must have missed it the first time DOH) |
