| Posted by jenhsuanchien GarminXT Samsung Omnia keeps freezing On my Omnia with Windows Mobile 6.5, GarminXT keeps freezing and stops rendering maps. There is no power save mode on and when im navigating, it will just stop rendering the map and give me a white screen with left over navigation steps on the top. Then I have to go to the menu, and click view map again to let it SLOWLY load the maps again. It's really frustrating. Any ideas? |
| Posted by matt_wilson solution? Are you running this from a memory card, i believe it can cause problems if your memory card is nearly full or has an active application running from the memory card at the same time |

| Posted by patandbek Samsung Omnia problem Hi there, My Omnia used to do the same thing- it always happened when I had too many programs running on the handset. I would usually have to quit all the programs, then turn it off, and back on. It was a pain... I was running version 5 on it (not sure about the rest of the numbers tacked on to the end of it, because my phone was water damages so I can't check). I now have the Samsung Icon Hd, and it works much better on that. |
