| Posted by nicks.smirking.revenge POIs under linux What is the best way to install POIs when using linux? Installing .csv or .gpi files in the /Garmin/POI folder? Has anyone been able to get POI Loader to work under Wine? It seems to install OK but when I try to run it (in Ubuntu 9.10) the program closes after about half a second. Apart from ease of use, are there any advantages to using POI Loader versus manually copying .gpi or .csv files to the /Garmin/POI? |

In summary, you can use our GPS POI Tools to create and install GPI files to your Garmin (webapp POI Loader for Linux), or you can download our GPI POI files for Garmin and copy them to your GPS. Works with Linux and all other operating systems. Regards |
