| Posted by BrightonBongo Jack of all trades I had a co-pilot with a PDA about 3 years ago but gave up on transferring software to a second micro-SD card. So I am pretty much a GPS virgin. Now I'm thinking of a system with a bigger screen that's portable between my Mazda Bongo on the roads of France or the Yaris on British streets... or even my pedal bike on country lanes anywhere in Europe. I'll want POI showing LPG stations all over, down to cycle tracks or even footpaths. Am I expecting too much to hope one system can do all this fairly well? Do I need to pay out for commercial software to get the detail I want or can I get basic kit and download free POI stuff? What kit would you recommend? |
