| Posted by life.by Changing Garmin opening LOGO The way of changing opening LOGO: 1.Denpending on your device, choosing right size of pics for LOGO, the formate of pics must .bmp; 2. Create a new folder under GARMIN, named by SSB; 3. Celect favourit pics(.bmp) then copy it into \SSB, after that change its name to GarminSplashScreen.bmp Now all have been done! BTW, you also can create a animition opening LOGO, How to do that? Let me tell you. First, choose several pics, name them by: GarminSplashScreen01.bmp;GarminSplashScreen02.bmp, GarminSplashScreen03.bmp, GarminSplashScreen04.bmp... Have been successul on 5.00.30wp-ASN. Final result depend on your device,and you can try it. |

| Posted by wayne.eckersley3 Garmin 660 logos Must be BMP file or jpg and go to settings and display and have your SD card inserted with the LOGOS wanted and the system will ask where to download from; ie Garmin device sortware of SD card. Then it does from the SD card always and this way will be safe to do. Follow your instructions in the 660 manual to do it OK, Regards, Wayne |
