| Posted by e-uy Warranty for defective speaker I've just had my Nuvi 760 replaced under warranty for a defective speaker. Has anybody else experienced this? BTW the turnaround time from sending it off and getting the new unit back from Garmin was excellent, I sent it in via Express Post on the Monday and had the new unit back to me on the Friday. Well done Garmin. |
| Posted by rongoodwin Warranty for defective battery e-uy I fully agree I've just had my Nuvi 260W replaced under recall for a defective Garmin battery. It was REPLACED with a NEW UPGRADED 255W Turnaround time from sending it off and getting the new unit back from Garmin was excellent, I sent it via Prepaid Post on the Tueday and had the new unit back to me on the Friday. :D Well done Garmin. |
| Posted by shane3333 1490T Speaker Problem? I have 1490T that seems to be playing up. It occasionally it will talk/beep, etc on an apparent random basis. Would this be a similar problem attributable to the spreaker, or has anyone else had a similar problem and could advise? Other than that, the 1490T is our 3rd Garmin (3 in use) and am very happy with it. |
