| Posted by jiggs Rapidshare maps for TomTom not working I tried to put on a map which i had downloaded from rapidshare.com but after hours of installing the map was not functional. It said it had to be activated. Any ideas? Plus I have 2 maps on my tomtom, one England and Ireland and the other is Central Europe, but when I switch maps to Central Europe and try to set up a journey from UK to Europe it only brings up UK or Ireland. I'm confused. Does the Euro map only work when you cross the channel? |
| Posted by no-go Re: Rapidshare maps for tomtom not working Rapidshare is not a safe place to look for any map updates. It is a site where people distribute hacked stuff, so be careful what you download from here. I suspect your "new" maps overwrited some other required file and you may need to reinstall your original maps. To activate your new map(s) you have to download various tomtom map keygen programs. Who knows what adware, spyware or viruses they contain? I used a bit rapidshare before. It took me 2 months to clean my PC after just a single nasty keygen download. |
| Posted by mike2009 Downloaded Tomtom map Downloaded Tomtom maps (as well as ones copied from your friends) would not work on your device because they should be activated on your unique device id. If you are purchasing maps, Tomtom does it automatically. |

| Posted by gpsunderground No Map Zigg, I've downloaded and used both gpsunderground links (Rapidsare and Megaupload) map downloads, deleted my outdated map, renamed the new maps and saved them to my PDA. Did not work so I reinstalled my old map (version 675.1431) but I get the same No Map error message. Something went wrong... |
| Posted by soeasygps Pay attention Pay attention, because lot of user prevent of a new public works in one street, but never make modification when the public works are done. My advice is to never use the mapshare. |
