| Posted by dean.aj GO730 - POI's won't show up on map? No warning either? Hi guys I have downloaded the various safety camera POI's from this site and copied them into the maps folder (internal mem) on my GO730, but they won't show up on my map?! I've enabled the POIs, so should be no issue there. I have a feeling the solution is going to be a very simple one, but I can't think of it! The POI files I've got are the ov2 adn bmp files, both with the same file name. I'm a complete n00b when it comes to this stuff - the POIs don't need to be patched or anything like that do they? Can't work out why the aren't working, and it's alrady cost me $250 in a speeding fine haha Any help would be much appreciated |
| Posted by lachlan GO730 - POI's won't show up on map? No warning either? Sounds like you need to set up warnings for POI 1. Tap the screen to bring up the main menu. 2. Tap Change preferences. 3. Tap Manage POIs. 4. Tap Warn when near POI. Also if they are not showing on the map Showing POIs on the map 1. Tap Show POIs on map in the Preferences menu. 2. Select the POI categories to display on the map. |
