| Posted by sean333 How do I set 'use motorways' as a preference - Nuvi765 Hello I've had my Nuvi765 for two weeks and recently in Melbourne I noticed that whilst I prefer Motorways (in this case the Princess FWY) I found the Garmin did not, regardless of whether I used 'Fastest Time' or 'Shortest Distance'. Is there a way to get the Garmin to 'prefer' motorways when they are available? Cheers Sean |
| Posted by johmazz2006 Nuvi765 If you go to preferences in setup, you can set it to avoid freeways, ferry's, tollroads etc. Sounds like you have yours set to avoid freeways.. |

| Posted by johmazz2006 765 Sounds like it may be taking the shortest route which is not by the freeway you wish to use. There are a few selections in the setup which can be a pain to get set to your liking, just have to play until you find a setup that suite you. |
