| Posted by nkbrowne Multiple alerts I have trouble with multiple warnings for speed cameras alerting on my garmin unit. I have the POI files from Garmin installed but can not remember how to get rid of them to save the double up. Any tips? |
| Posted by johmazz2006 Multiple alerts You have to remove the unwanted alerts from the Garmin/POI directory, then reload with PIO Loader as it places all files in that directory into one file called POI.gpi and loads that into the Garmin. |
| Posted by kemmistry just delete them from my computer or you can plug you device into your computer and go straight in to the garmin disc and delete them from a folder called poi's. |

| Posted by johmazz2006 alerts You will have to make your own custom alerts sound file then name it the same but with the correct extension. i.e. .wav or .mp3 |
