| Posted by H-Man New NAV MY500 XT Hi All, just trying to learn about all this new GPS stuff and I need some help. I have just spent a couple of hours reading forums and following direction of getting info into my NAV Unit... I have saved a POI's file containing 60 or so addresses of clients that I want to navigate to on a regular basis.. this seemed to go okay enetring them into the online coordinates creator on this site... I then went in to the NAVDESK to create new folder etc as directed... all while unit was plugged into the PC... ... I then went to the unit and no POI's come up or are visible... .... I think what I'm after is a mass address upload into MYplaces so I can select an address to go to... ... any help and advice would be much appreciated.. ... i don't get much time on PC as I rely on being at work late hours to access forums etc... | Posted by rellis1 Re: New NAV MY500 XT You will need to install the POI's via navdesk..if you read the manual on how to install POI's that should get you going in no time. let us know how you go. good luck |
