| Posted by kw67 Nuvi 1490T - Audio I have the same issue that the voice goes away from time to time but after I powered up the unit. I normally turn the unit off and back on and the voice comes back. I'll try what you did next time. Can't believe after 1.5 yr, the 1490T HW and FW still having the same issues. |

Try updating your firmware. There was a bug in some versions of 1490T firmware that resulted in intermittent audio. I updated my firmware about a month ago and it fixed the problem ("intermittent audio" was one of the problems that was documented by Garmin as fixed in that firmw |

| Posted by domenyck Another solution if all else fails I had this same issue with the Garmin 1390T. Garmin reset the machine and did the software update but it did not fix the problem so they replaced the unit under warranty. |
