Changing catagories on a Nüvi 765

I have a 765 and recently downloaded all the school zones *.gpi file to my GPS.
Problem is it placed them all under " Favourites" which then muddled the lot with others I have and use regularly.
So when I select Go to and then favourites, up comes hundreds and I have to scroll and scroll to find wht I want, sure I can start by spelling, but this seems to be a recent upload problem ( only had the unit for 2 months ) and only been like this since last upload.
Is Favourites where it is supposed to go??
Can I change them easily ( there are 844 school zones).
I have tried, by creating a new catagory and then editing each one on the GPS but it is a B ache and will take forever.
I also opened the POI editor in the forum and moved all of the schools out to a new .csv spreadsheet and then saved as GPX, but I have not reloaded them yet, pending some help here.
Where have I gone wrong and how should I correct this.
thanks guy's

school zone downloads

Noticed something similar so will delete everything and reload and post results when done.

POI categories

When I POIload POIs in GPX files, the names of the files are the categories under Extras. Remove and re-load with different GPX names and you will have different categories. Am I missing something?

Re: school zone downloads

Got this information/help from another forumite. (bentzens)

Under Garmin in the root directory there is a sub-directory called POI Files.
Make subdirectories with the same name as the file area on GPS DATA Team, that you are downloading from.
Then, download the updates into that sub-directory.
i.e.
c:\Garmin\POI Files\Safety
c:\Garmin\POI Files\Accomodation
c:\Garmin\POI Files\Petrol

Connect the GPS to computer then use POI Loader and load everything from c:\Garmin\POI Files\ to the GPS.

Everything in that subdirectory will be setup and loaded in ONE file to the GPS, AND the POI's will be the same in the GPS as on your computer.

Remember, it will overwrite your old POI's in the GPS as it all goes into one file.
Hope you can make sense of this, not explained as well as it was to me but the steps are correct.
