| Posted by BigBen999 SD cards/Maps I just paid for new TomTom maps for my TT GO 710. After payment was verified, I find I cannot download the maps to my original SD card as the card is too small. I have bought a new 4 GB SDHC, followed the instructions, backup etc. only to find, when I try to connect to my PC with new card inserted, It says no device connected. Any Ideas, lads? |
| Posted by yct26 SD Cards/Maps I have a One XL, had similar problems. TT Home 2 displays message where there is insufficient memory to download map. If you are using TT Home 2 update, try ejecting the SD card while its connected to TT Home and reinserting the SD card. TT Home 2 should now see the SD card The majority of TT only support cards up to 2GB but I don't know if this is the case for the 710 Unfortunately the TT support is totally useless. Until I started investigating further, instructions from support left me with a map I could not use and a brick One XL. Hope this helps |
