| Posted by mark.ok7 Any tricks/applications to show large current speed display Hi I'm wondering if anybody has come across any tricks or applications to show a large current speed display? My eyes aren't what they used to be and I can't see it. I'm using TomTom Navigator software on a Windows 6.1 PDA. So far I've removed all other display data such as time to arrival etc and the speed is showing a little bigger, but still not big enough. Alternatively, an application to show a large current speed display within the TomTom display - in place of the weather would suit me fine. My previous GPS had quite a large speed display which I could read with the maps on display (the screen was about the same size as my present unit). So I really miss this. I use my GPS to provide me a more accurate speed when I need it or to check the speedo of the car that I'm driving. Cheers Mark |
| Posted by narsamma Speed display size Sad to say Mark but the speed display is set to a certain size in the application file ttsystem. Unless you know how to hack the tomtom, you along with the rest of us are stuck with the size of it... |
