Not sure about 260, but in 660 and for 7x5 series it's enough to point poi loader to the folder containing your .gpx (or .csv) and .bmp files, upload it to the device and it will warn you with default sound according to the information in data file...It's possible to find different sounds alert and install them with data file - try to look for more information on the forum.
