Before I purchase one, I was wondering if they are capable of giving my GPS increased accuracy over the standard internal antenna? I've done a search on here and nothing related has come up? Cheers |

| Posted by tv external antennas Hmmm. I always thought that the more satilites seen the more accurate the readings? So if an external antenna helps with aquiring more satilites then accuracy happens by default? Sit under my carport without external antenna, I get 7 satilites and accuracy is 10 -12 mtrs. With the external antenna, 4-5 mtrs! |

| Posted by xadrianx external antenna I use an external antenna on my Garmin Streetpilot 7200 and it does give better reception. Garmin oem antenna, no china.... |
