| Posted by tony333333 Speed alert - limiter I have a Garmin Nuvi 255w. I have been booked for speeding twice recently, and it's costing me. Both times I was in areas not covered by the GPS speed alerts. I have been looking at other limiting devices, but they are very expensive. (around $300). Is there a program or way to set my own speed limit and have the GPS warn me when I go over. Modern cars are so quiet and comfortable... yeah, I know it's my own fault! Can anyone please advise me if there is anything available, or being developed? Could be a winner!!! Thanks, Tony |

| Posted by desangles Speed Limit The Nuvi 265WT shows speed limit in certain highways, but maybe that's not the feature you are looking for. |
