| Posted by life.by How to set Alert at shool zone area? Hi, I have set speed & red light's alert mp3. It works fine. However, when I tried to set the school zone 40 speed alert, it doesn't work. The way is the same as setting speed & right light alert. I analysed the difference between speed & right alert and speed zone alert is speed & right light alert is only a dot on map, but speed zone is a range/area. So the mp3 alert cannot be awaken in exact point. Am I right? :?: Is there any way to solve the problem? Tks. |

| Posted by thomasanderson314 different file. I believe what you want is in a separate file, under "Variable Speed Cameras"; it's the yellow square-triangle hat icon with a "40" in it. Download the requisite files - GPX or CSV and .mp3 and .bmp, to your folder containing the rest of your Garmin POI files, then upload to your Garmin GPS with the POI loader. You should see the the variable speed cameras then. |

Hi, Tks for reply. I did what you mentioned above. But it is not working except hearing beep & seeing the warning light. Just only mp3 voice alert doesn't work. I could not figure out the reason. However, the right lights mp3 alert work well. |
