| Posted by jmlindh Large custom POI file in Favorites Somehow, a large file of California Wineries has found its way into the "Favorites" area of my Garmin 750. Now, every time I'm looking for a favorite, I have to slog thru 500 winery files that shouldn't be there. I don't want to have to delete them manually and Garmin tech support is no help. I'm willing to erase all the favorites or even completely reset the GPS in order to avoid having to erase the wineries 1 by 1. Any ideas? Thanks. |

| Posted by jmlindh Wineries in "Favorites" The large file of wineries is in the "Favorites" section, not the "Extras" . I have copied the file which you sent using "text edit" and replaced, again using "text edit" all of the text in the in use "Current.gpx" file to no avail. My "Favorites" still contains hundreds of wineries. John |
| Posted by jmlindh Problem solved I ended up just deleting all the waypoints and rebuilding via "Road Trip". Manually deleting all the wineries would have taken forever. |
| Posted by Guest Same problem here I have to same problem after do a install POI on my garmin 265WT. Now I have a bunch custom POI in my favorites which I don't know how to delete. If someone know how let me know too thank you. |
